Next year will again be marked by celebrations, because in May it will be 20 years since our republic joined the European Union. In 2004, the first year of the festival was held just to celebrate this occasion. On May 1, 2004, 10 new countries joined the EU, and the United Islands of Prague therefore symbolically took place on 10 islands.
