2gether – Yinon Muallem & Saman Alias
When Yinon met Saman there was an instant connection. They started playing together and the music flowed effortlessly, like water. Together they created, recorded, and journeyed through Israel and Turkey, eventually crafting their album.
Their bond is more than music. It's the story of Yinons parents, Jewish immigrants from Baghdad to Israel in the 1950s, and Saman, a Jewish soul who found his way to Sweden from Kurdistan\Iraq over twenty years ago during Saddam Hussein's rule.Together, they named their project "2gether," symbolizing the unity of two worlds.
