Karol Komenda (CZ/SK)

The power trio of singer, guitarist, and composer Karol Komenda brings older music from the 60s and 70s, which he combines with modern, more progressive rock, blues, funk, or soul. Live performances are full of energy, catchy choruses, and improvisation. Jakub Nývlt (Sto Zvířat) plays drums, and Samuel Barcík (Paulie Garand) plays bass. Karol Komenda is a prominent figure in our contemporary guitar scene. In addition to his own band, he also regularly plays with Ben Cristovao and has collaborated with artists such as David Koller, Jana Kirschner, Mirai, and others.
