Tomáš Martínek aka TMA is a czech electronic musician, pianist and multimedia programmer based in Prague. He was one of the first projects on the czech indie label Bad Names. His work lays in the realms of alternative electronic music with elements and techniques of classical compositions. Somewhere between Philip Glass and Actress. In 2017 Tomáš collaborated with the National Film Archive (NFA) to release a DVD version of the restored 1921 film Poisoned Light, directed by Kolar and Lamac. For this project, he composed an hour-long soundtrack inspired by modern practices with classical instruments. In 2021 he started a collaboration with electronic musician Jakub Baierl (aka Bariel), a joint live act called Bariel & TMA. Come spring 2023, Tomáš dived into a thrilling new venture by becoming part of the VIAH group, alongside the talented artists Vi and Rósa. He participated on a few compilations, released two solo EPs, several singles and remixes.
